GUSTAVO MAIA
Motion Designer | 3D Artist | Visual Storyteller
I love making cool things and telling stories through motion. Whether it’s crafting a clear message, designing captivating motion graphics, or diving into 3D and digital sculpting, I’m passionate about bringing ideas to life. My creative interests also extend to sound design, music production, 3D printing, and painting figures – all of which feed into my work and process.
Currently at FPF, I design motion graphics for social media, massive LED displays at events, TV ads that promote products and services, visual effects to enhance promotional content, and animations tailored for a variety of cutting-edge platforms.
Before joining FPF, I spent over a decade as a freelancer, working closely with some of the biggest advertising agencies in Portugal, such as Publicis, Leo Burnett, Fuel, and BBDO. During that time, I contributed to projects for global brands like Coca-Cola, BMW, Jameson, Universal Music, and Galp. My freelance work spanned motion graphics, 3D animation, video editing, and visual effects, helping brands and agenvies tell their stories across a variety of platforms. Apart from that, I’m a certified instructor, teaching Cinema 4D at Flag. In the past, I also created the YouTube channel My Motion Graphics, which reached 40k subscribers. The channel was meant to share knowledge about motion graphics and showcase some of the addons I created.
I specialize in motion graphics, 3D animation, visual effects, and video production. My skills range from designing dynamic motion content for social media and TV to creating detailed 3D models and animations for various platforms. I’m proficient with tools like Cinema 4D, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop, ZBrush, MidJourney, Ableton Live, and more.
